Sport Premium
At St. Andrew’s CE Infants’ we acknowledge through ethos, planning and outcomes the importance of pupils having access to a high standard of physical education opportunities.
We believe in a skills based curriculum and we use a scheme of work which serves our pupils well through giving them opportunities to participate in gymnastics, athletics, games and dance. These skills are used across the curriculum and enable our pupils to: for example, to perform dances in whole school services, to compete in inter school sports, to enjoy team games at playtimes and in clubs.
We have also added to the above sum from the main school budget to ensure that all our pupils benefit from the sports coach through as many different avenues as possible.
